Scripture
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Thoughts of Peace
A short reflection to help you apply God's Word.
God spoke these words to people living in exile, far from home, told they would stay seventy years. It was not a promise of instant rescue but of a faithful God working through a long, hard season. His thoughts toward them were of peace, and not of evil, to give them an expected end. If you are in a waiting season, God has not forgotten you. His plans for you are still good, even when they take longer than you hoped.
Affirmation
A scripture-based declaration for your day.
God's thoughts toward me are thoughts of peace. He is giving me a future and a hope, even in seasons of waiting.
Prayer
A simple prayer to help you respond to God's Word.
Father, I am tempted to believe You have forgotten me in this season. Thank You that Your thoughts toward me are of peace and not of evil. Help me to be faithful where I am, and to trust the future You are preparing. In Jesus' name, Amen.
