The Fruit of the Spirit
A short reflection to help you apply God's Word.
Fruit does not grow by straining; it grows by staying connected to the vine. Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance are not a checklist to achieve by willpower. They are what the Holy Spirit produces in a life yielded to Him. If one of these feels far from you today, do not just try harder. Draw near to Christ, and ask the Spirit to grow in you what you cannot produce yourself.
Affirmation
A scripture-based declaration for your day.
The Holy Spirit is growing love, joy, peace and patience in me as I stay close to Christ.
Prayer
A simple prayer to help you respond to God's Word.
Holy Spirit, grow Your fruit in me. Where I am impatient, make me patient. Where I am anxious, give me peace. Where my love has grown cold, warm my heart again. Keep me close to Jesus, the true Vine. In His name, Amen.
