Scripture
Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Seek First
A short reflection to help you apply God's Word.
Jesus spoke these words right after telling His listeners not to worry about food or clothing. His answer to worry is not a better plan but a different priority. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and the rest will be added. When God is first, everything else finds its proper place. What you put first in the morning often sets the course for the whole day. Begin today by giving Him the first place.
Affirmation
A scripture-based declaration for your day.
I seek God's kingdom first, and I trust Him to provide everything else I need.
Prayer
A simple prayer to help you respond to God's Word.
Father, forgive me for the times I put everything else first. Today I choose to seek Your kingdom and Your righteousness above all. Order my priorities, quiet my worries, and help me to trust You for what I need. In Jesus' name, Amen.
