You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

• If you sign in with Google, your use of Google sign-in is also subject to Google's terms. An account that uses the same email address may be accessed with either your password or Google sign-in.
• One person per account; don't share or transfer your account.

You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
• Post or share content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or that promotes violence.
• Send spam or use the invitation feature to contact people who haven't agreed to hear from you.
• Access the Service by automated means (such as scraping or bulk requests), interfere with its operation, bypass usage limits or security measures, or try to access other users' accounts or data.
• Copy, resell, or reverse engineer the Service, except as the law allows.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

You own the notes, reading plans, study documents, and other content you create ("Your Content"). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display Your Content only as needed to operate and improve the Service for you, including sending it to our service providers as described in the Privacy Policy.

If you publish a reading plan, you also allow us to display it publicly, together with your display name and profile picture, until you unpublish it or delete your account. We may review, decline to publish, or remove public content that violates these Terms.

You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to share it.

Reading plans, passage analysis, historical and cultural context, study materials, and narration in the Service are produced automatically. They are offered as study aids and may contain errors or reflect particular interpretations. They are not a substitute for your own study of Scripture, your faith community, or pastoral, medical, legal, or other professional advice. Please verify anything important.

Bible translations are provided by third parties and remain subject to their publishers' rights. Translations in the public domain, such as the King James Version, may be used freely.

The Service, including its design, software, text we write, and branding, belongs to Prism Bible and its licensors. These Terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service; they don't give you any other rights in it. If you send us feedback, we may use it without any obligation to you.

The Service relies on and links to services we don't control, such as Google sign-in, map providers, and Bible text sources. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we aren't responsible for them.

The Service is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we will show you the price and any additional terms before you are charged, and you will not be charged without agreeing to them.

You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account at [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Where reasonable, we will tell you why. We may also change or discontinue features of the Service. Sections 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, and 13 survive termination.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T PROMISE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT CONTENT WILL BE PRESERVED WITHOUT LOSS.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRISM BIBLE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US $50.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.

You agree to defend and hold harmless Prism Bible from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content or your violation of these Terms or the law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Prism Bible is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of the place where you live.

We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the Service before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
