Scripture
2 Corinthians 12:9
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Strength in Weakness
A short reflection to help you apply God's Word.
Paul begged God three times to take away his thorn in the flesh. God's answer was not removal but presence: "My grace is sufficient for thee." We usually hide our weaknesses and lead with our strengths. God turns that around. His power is made perfect in weakness, because that is where it is most clearly His. The place where you feel least capable today may be exactly where His strength is about to show up.
Affirmation
A scripture-based declaration for your day.
God's grace is sufficient for me. His power rests on me most clearly in the places where I am weak.
Prayer
A simple prayer to help you respond to God's Word.
Lord, I am tired of pretending to be strong. Thank You that Your grace is enough for me today. Where I am weak, be my strength. Let Your power rest on me so that whatever good comes from my life points back to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
