المزامير 46:1-11
قراءة من الكتاب المقدس(ESV)
1God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
3though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah
4There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High.
5God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.
6The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts.
7The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
8Come, behold the works of the LORD, how he has brought desolations on the earth.
9He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the chariots with fire.
10“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”
11The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
تأمل اليوم
وسط الفوضى، يعلن الله نفسه بأنه ملاذنا وقوتنا، معين موجود دائماً في الضيق. يرسم الكاتب صوراً حية لظروف تهز الأرض، لكنه يربط قلوبنا بحقيقة لا تهتز: الله معنا. العبارة "اسكتوا واعلموا أني أنا الله" ليست اقتراحاً سلبياً بل دعوة قوية للتوقف عن محاولاتنا المحمومة والراحة في سيادته. عندما تبدو التحديات ساحقة، يذكرنا هذا المزمور بأن إلهنا ليس بعيداً أو غير مهتم. إنه عمانوئيل، الله معنا، يعمل بنشاط حتى عندما لا نستطيع رؤية يده. رب الجنود هو حصننا، برج قوي يمكننا أن نسرع إليه للأمان. اليوم، مهما كانت الجبل الذي تواجهه، تذكر أن الله الذي يأمر الأمم ويتحكم في غضب الطبيعة هو نفس الله الذي يعتني بك بحنان. النضال الذي تواجهه حالياً، مهما كان مكثفاً، لا يستطيع أن يفصلك عن حضوره الحامي.
تأمّل
أي تحدٍ محدد في حياتك يبدو وكأنه 'زلزال' الآن، وكيف قد يدعوك الله إلى أن 'تسكن' في حضوره؟

اطلب من الله أن يساعدك على اختبار حضوره كملاذك وقوتك، وادعه أن يهدئ العواصف في قلبك وظروفك...
