Scripture
Psalm 119:105
NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
A Lamp for the Next Step
A short reflection to help you apply God's Word.
A lamp in the ancient world did not light up a whole road. It lit the ground right in front of your feet. God's Word often works the same way. We want to see the whole map, but He gives us enough light for the next faithful step. That is not a lack of care; it is an invitation to walk with Him. When the future feels dark, open the Scriptures and ask, "What is the next right thing?" His Word will light it.
Affirmation
A scripture-based declaration for your day.
God's Word lights my path. I do not need to see the whole road to take the next faithful step with Him.
Prayer
A simple prayer to help you respond to God's Word.
Lord, thank You for the gift of Your Word. When I feel unsure of the way ahead, help me to trust the light You give for today. Make me attentive to Your voice in Scripture, and give me courage to take the next step in obedience. In Jesus' name, Amen.
